    Nikki Ange, an environmental scientist with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Norfolk District, assesses a property affected by the EF-5 tornado that damaged or destroyed almost a third of the city May 22. Ange, a native of Chesapeake, Va., is one of more than 300 USACE employees who volunteered to support the federal recovery efforts here.
