Blanchfield Army Community Hospital’s Chief of Occupational Therapy and Installation Ergonomics Officer, Lt. Col. Colleen Daniels has U.S. Army Dental Activity Fort Campbell Soldiers, 1st Sgt. Deneise McFarlane and Sgt. 1st Class David Moore stand back-to-back to demonstrate that while they are different sizes some of the equipment they use to complete their job is only designed for one size which can lead to muscle strain after prolonged use. Daniels provided ergonomics training to members of the DENTAC April 6 at Fort Campbell’s USO. Injury prevention, which helps maintain Soldier readiness, is one area of practice for Army OTs.
