PATROL BASE TALIBJAN, Helmand province, Afghanistan - A Marine with 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 8, pays his respects to a fallen Marine during a memorial ceremony honoring Spring Valley, Wis., native Cpl. Michael C. Nolen. He was recently killed in action while conducting combat operations in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Nolen served as a team leader with the unit.
