PATROL BASE TALIBJAN, Helmand province, Afghanistan - Marines with 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 8, pay their respects during a memorial for Cpl. Michael C. Nolen. The Spring Valley, Wis., native was recently killed in action while conducting combat operations in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Nolen served as a team leader with the unit.
