Mr. Ahmet Sallova, the Chief of Mine Action Center (MAC) from the Ministry for the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) spoke to the crowd about the many organizations involved in the demining process and their accomplishments since 1999 when demining efforts began. Over the past 19 years 51,216,184 square meters have been cleared and returned to the people in Kosovo for natural and economic use, as well as saving lives in the local communities.
