Members of the Dana Point 5th Marine Regiment Support Group observe Marines of 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment in a Marine Corps Martial Arts sparring session during an adventure day hosted by 5th Marines at the Camp San Mateo training center, July 7. Approximately 50 civilians, both members and non-members of the support group, experienced a typical day in the life of a Marine. They learned about the various weapons systems, training simulators and tools the regiment’s warriors use on a daily basis.
