JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (April 2, 2018) Janet Walker, a certified medical assistant at Naval Branch Health Clinic Jacksonville’s deployment health center, takes a sailor’s vitals as part of a deployment pre-screening. Deployment health includes activities before, during, and after deployments. Walker, a native of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, takes pride in getting service members ready for deployment. “We want this to be a seamless process that screens, identifies, and treats service members efficiently and effectively.
