German Torres Changanaqui, 21, originally from Lima, Peru, but now a resident of Palmdale, Calif., and an amphibious vehicle crewman with Combat Logistics Battalion 7, 2nd Marine Logistics Group (Forward), ensures tools are properly arranged in the tool shop July 8, 2011, aboard Camp Dwyer, Afghanistan. Torres received his citizenship during a naturalization ceremony July 4 at Camp Phoenix, Afghanistan, 15 years after immigrating to the United States.
