Lance Cpl. German Torres Changanaqui, 21, originally from Lima, Peru, but now a resident of Palmdale, Calif., and an amphibious vehicle crewman with Combat Logistics Battalion 7, 2nd Marine Logistics Group (Forward), issues a tool to a fellow Marine July 8, 2011, aboard Camp Dwyer, Afghanistan. Torres received his citizenship during a naturalization ceremony July 4 at Camp Phoenix, Afghanistan, 15 years after immigrating to the United States.
