Brig. Gen. Hamid Malik Jarad, Iraqi police commander of the Abu Risha Brigade, met with Lt. Col. Chuck Masaracchia, commander of 1st Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment, 2nd Advise and Assist Brigade, at Red Falcons headquarters at Camp Ramadi, Iraq, July 9. This was the first meeting between the commanders, who spent the afternoon discussing topics ranging from U.S. and Iraqi partnerships to their favorite sports. Jarad commands four IP battalions, covering areas from Ramadi to Fallujah. Masaracchia is a native of New Orleans, La.
