    3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne)

    Capt. Joseph W. Schultz, of Sacramento, Calif., detachment commander, ODA 3333, 3rd Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne), is laid to rest with full military honors at Arlington National Ceremony in Arlington, Va., June 17. Schultz, along with teammates Sgt. 1st Class Martin R. Apolinar and Sgt. Aaron J. Blasjo, were killed in Afghanistan, May 29, 2011, when the vehicle in which they were traveling was struck by a roadside bomb. A unit memorial was held in honor of the three men, June 23, at the John F. Kennedy Chapel at Fort Bragg.
