NAVAL SUPPORT FACILITY DEVESELU, Romania (Feb. 22, 2018) Naval Support Facility (NSF) Deveselu fire and emergency services personnel stand in formation during a Last Alarm Ceremony honoring Chief Dean Riewald, Navy Region Europe, African, Southwest Asia’s fire chief, who passed away recently. The Last Alarm Ceremony is a time-honored tradition fire and emergency personnel use to pay respect to their fallen comrades. NSF Deveselu and Aegis Ashore Missile Defense System Romania are co-located with the Romanian 99th Military Base and play a key role in ballistic missile defense in Eastern Europe.
