Larry McCullen, middle, commanding officer of the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6), discusses the ship’s well deck capabilities to officers of the Royal Thai military during a ship tour in support of Cobra Gold 2018. Bonhomme Richard is participating in CG18 alongside Royal Thai Navy ships and personnel, conducting a range of amphibious operations that will enhance the tactical expertise of participants and rehearse combined capabilities to respond to contingencies. Cobra Gold is an annual exercise conducted in the Kingdom of Thailand held this year from Feb. 13-23 with seven full participating nations.
