U.S. Army Brig. Gen. Deborah L. Kotulich, commanding general, 143d Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), discusses the importance of improving unit readiness in a complex operational environment with senior leaders from the 143d ESC’s downtrace units during a Mission Training Brief conducted Feb. 3, 2018, in Orlando, Fla. Kotulich emphasized that battalion and brigade command teams must evaluate and enhance their respective training schedules to ensure their Soldiers acquire technical knowledge and tactical experience to face lethal adversaries who possess modern military tactics, equipment and capabilities.
