Lt. Gen. Vincent K. Brooks, right, receives the Third Army colors from Army Chief of Staff Gen. Martin E. Dempsey during a change of command ceremony held on Hedekin Field here today. "Today's ceremony has an extra measure of historic significance," Lt. Gen. Brooks said. "Third Army bids farewell to Atlanta, closing a long chapter of service here." The command is moving into its new headquarters at Shaw Air Force Base, S.C.
