Sgt. Gabriela J. Williams, a warehouse clerk with 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, was awarded the III MEF Marine Corps Association & Foundation Noncommissioned Officer of the Year award during the inaugural MCA&F dinner at the Butler Officers’ Club, Okinawa, Japan, Jan. 12, 2018. Williams is a native of Miami. “I’m leading from the front for my Marines,” said Williams. “Everything I do is so that they can be a better reflection of me. There are corporals and lance corporals out there that are smarter than me. You can always take something from them.
