PONCE, Puerto Rico – John Bailey, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers logistic manager with Task Force Power Restoration, oversees the transfer of 550 insulators at the Ponce Warehouse in Ponce, Puerto Rico Jan. 23, 2018. The insulators are needed to support the weight of the suspended wires without allowing electricity to flow through the tower to ground. The insulators shipments along with other material shipments have increased in recent weeks. Ponce is Task Force Power Restoration’s second largest distribution site.
