170511-N-PF593-067 WATERS SOUTH OF JAPAN (May 11, 2017) Ticonderoga-class cruiser, USS Shiloh (CG 67), and Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler, USNS John Ericsson (T-AO 194), steam alongside the Navy's forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), during a fuel replenishment-at-sea. Ronald Reagan received approximately 1.4 million gallons of fuel from John Ericsson during the replenishment. Ronald Reagan, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 5, provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the collective maritime interests of its allies and partners in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
