LIELVARDE AIR BASE, LATVIA (Dec. 22, 2017): U.S. Ambassador to Latvia Nancy Petit talks to Specialist Ryan Strling while visiting the soldiers of 3-227th Assault Helicopter Battalion at Lielvarde Air Base in Latvia. The 3-227th is deployed to Latvia under Operation Atlantic Resolve, and as part of NATO’s Enhanced Forward Presence across Poland and the Baltic states.
