“My family didn’t really see it coming when I told them I was going to join the navy, and actually didn’t really believe I was going to do it. But I know they’re proud of me and glad I went through with joining the navy,” said Fernando. According to Fernando as he maned the rails and Bremerton slowly came into view he became excited and nervous causing him to be speechless.
