Peter Park, a Paralympics hopeful from Colorado Springs set the momentum for the team by winning gold medals in the 800-meter, 100-meter and 200-meter wheelchair race during the 2011 Warrior Games track and field meet, May 17. The Games are a Paralympic-style competition for wounded, ill or injured service members.
