U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Benjaman Johnis, a survival evade resistance escape specialist from the 414th Combat Search and Rescue Squadron and Tech. Sgt. Matthew Phillips, an airborne vehicle maintenance craftsman, from the 820th RED HORSE Squadron take wind readings while setting up the landing zone at Alamo Airfield during a training exercise May 12. The 414th CSAR Squadron conducted the training and certified 3 RED HORSE airmen as drop zone control officers, enabling Airborne RED HORSE airmen to perform jump missions and operate their own drop zones.
