Namibian defense force Maj. Gen. Angula Shalumbu, chief of staff, Operations and Training, addresses graduating students and U.S. Navy Explosive Orndance Disposal Unit members April 29 at the graduation ceremony in Namibia. U.S. Navy EOD technicians worked with the Namibian defense force to train and deepen their understanding of how to safely handle and dispose of unexploded ordnance left over from Namibia's 1990 war of independence from South Africa.
