Master Sgt. Herman Hodges, 17th Field Artillery Brigade operations sergeant, receives his ballots for the Iron Chief competition during Yama Sakura 73, an annual bilateral command post exercise involving the U.S. Military and Japan Ground Self-Defense force, at Camp Sendai, Sendai, Japan, Dec. 3, 2017. The Iron Chief competition was between the 6th division and 9th Division of the Japan Northeastern Army, the 4th Japan Air Wing and I Corps. They had to prepare a chicken wing dish and a dessert.
