Team Mandoline, America’s First Corps’ team for the Iron Chief competition at Yama Sakura 73, designed a spin on the American dish, chicken and waffles, by wrapping the chicken with bacon and topping it with a sriracha maple syrup at Camp Sendai, Sendai, Japan, Dec. 3, 2017. The Iron Chief competition was between the 6th division and 9th Division of the Japan Northeastern Army, the 4th Japan Air Wing and I Corps. They had to prepare a chicken wing dish and a dessert.
