U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Fredrick C. Cain, a utilities maintenance chief with 9th Engineer Support Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, participates in a firing drill during the Far East Annual Marksmanship Competition on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, on Dec. 6, 2017. The purpose of the competition is to improve the marksmanship, proficiency, and combat readiness of the Marine Corps as well as provide an opportunity to win a reward and advance to the Marine Corps Championship in Quantico, Virginia.
