A U.S. Army UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter configured as a medevac (medical evacuation) aircraft is parked on a tarmac, identifiable by the red cross and number '135' on its nose. The aircraft is equipped with external fuel tanks or auxiliary pods on its stub wings. Several military personnel in uniform are gathered near the right side of the aircraft, apparently conducting a briefing or inspection.

Members of Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve, Task Force Medical, demonstrate lifesaving techniques during the Military Combat, Operational and Disaster Mental Health course in Martyr Mohammed Ala Air Base, Baghdad, Iraq on Nov. 26, 2017. During the five-day course, CJTF-OIR members instructed Iraqi Ministry of Defense Military Health Service physicians, nurses, and flight medics on medical evacuation procedures and planning considerations for evacuating critically wounded patients. The trainees practiced hands-on litter bearing techniques using a variety of litter equipment and straps, as well as receiving a brief on the HH-60 helicopter’s medical evacuation Mission Equipment Package (MEP) kit.
