Staff Sgt. Matthew Szrejter, 332nd Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron, performs a walk around the aircraft to ensure there are no leaks while Staff Sgt. Terrance Gwathney communicates on the headset to the engine run technician in the cockpit while performing a phase post engine run, operational check. Maintainers ensure that all ground and functional checks are complete. These critical checks are performed after every 400 flying hours to make sure every aircraft is mission ready.
