(Nov. 27, 2017) Military Sealift Command Navigator Alex Footman, civilian mariner aboard the submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40), from Vancouver, British Columbia, finds his verbiage to secure from successful dry-docking operations and sea and anchor, as Frank Cable rests in a Vigor Industrial Shipyard dry dock, Nov. 27. Frank Cable, currently in Portland, Ore. for a scheduled dry-dock phase maintenance availability, conducts maintenance and supports submarines and surface vessels in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
