A U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon from the 79th Fighter Squadron, Shaw AFB, S.C., moves into position to refuel from a KC-135 Stratotanker boom operator from the 190 Air Refueling Wing, Forbes Field, Kan., during Green Flag West 11-6, April 27. Green Flag West replicates irregular warfare conditions currently found in Southwest Asia. Aircrews, work closely with Air Force joint terminal attack controllers. Pilots train for a missions such as close air support, and aerial reconnaissance.
