A U.S. Air Force two-ship of F-16 Fighting Falcons from the 79th Fighter Squadron, Shaw AFB, S.C., break out of formation and head out to the fight April 26, during Green Flag West 11-6. Conducted by the 549th Combat Training Squadron at Nellis Air Force Base Nev., and the 12th Combat Training Squadron at Fort Irwin, Calif., Green Flag West provides a realistic close-air support training environment for airmen and soldiers preparing to deploy in support of combat operations.
