ARABIAN GULF (Nov. 23, 2017) Yeoman 1st Class Anthony Olmos, assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Hopper (DDG 70), asks the Secretary of the Navy Richard V. Spencer a question during an all-hands call on the ship’s flight deck on Thanksgiving Day. Hopper is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of maritime security operations to reassure allies and partners and preserve the freedom of navigation and the free flow of commerce in the region.
