2nd Maintenance Squadron Airmen demonstrates a B-52H Stratofortress engine to, Secretary of the Air Force Heather Wilson during her tour of Barksdale Air Force Base, La., Nov. 14, 2017. As part of the tour Wilson spoke about a budget that supports the continuation and modernization of the nuclear triad. With the B-52H Stratofortress being estimated to be in service until 2050, The bomber is expected to receive upgraded engines with over 30 percent fuel reduction and 95 percent reduction in maintenance needs (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Mozer O.
