    U.S. Air Force Capt. Matthew McCandless, an 816th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron C17 Globemaster III pilot prepares to land at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, as part of Operation Inherent Resolve on Nov. 11, 2017. The C-17 is capable of rapid strategic delivery of troops an all types of cargo to bases throughout the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility.
