    Candles are placed at thousands of headstones to honor the fallen of the Meuse-Argonne Offensive in World War I, at the Meuse-Argonne American Cemetery and Memorial near the Argonne Forest in France, Nov. 11, 2017 – which is Remembrance Day in France. With more than 14,000 Americans buried at the cemetery, it is the largest U.S. military cemetery in Europe.
