Indiana National Guardsmen work through the night to fill an order of 100,000 sandbags over the next several days at the Indiana Department of Transportation in Vincennes, Ind., Tuesday, April 26, 2011. Approximately 250 soldiers were mobilized to state active duty in response to the flooding in Gibson, Knox, Daviess and Posey counties due to near record numbers of rainfall. Soldiers are assisting in sandbagging operations, transporting displaced civilians to shelters, search and rescue missions, debris removal and damage assessment.
