Armstrong, who grew up in Suisun, Calif., and now resides in Cedar Park, Texas, is a sponsored skateboarder currently serving in southern Iraq with the 36th Infantry Division future operations section. Operation New Dawn is the 43-year-old skater’s first deployment.
