RP3 Joseph M. Cason stands for a portrait during Blue Chromite 18 aboard White Beach Naval Facility, Okinawa, Japan, Oct 31, 2017. Blue Chromite is a U.S.-only exercise which strengthens the Navy-Marine Corps expeditionary, amphibious rapid-response capabilities based in Okinawa and the greater Indo-Asia-Pacific region. Cason, an Allen, Texas native, is a U.S. Navy religious programs specialist assigned to 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment.
