171021-N-KT595-095 PACIFIC OCEAN (Oct. 21, 2017) The moon sets in front of the 5-inch gun on the guided-missile cruiser USS Mobile Bay (CG 53) after the successful completion of an air defense exercise aboard the ship. Mobile Bay is currently underway testing an AEGIS Baseline 9 update to its Baseline 8 weapons system in preparation for its upcoming deployment.
