171024-N-PM250-181 ATLANTIC OCEAN (Oct. 24, 2017) Sailors aboard the Whidbey Island class amphibious landing dock ship USS Gunston Hall (LSD-44) participate in a fire drill. Gunston Hall is underway in support of exercise Bold Alligator 2017 (BA17). Improving Navy-Marine Corps amphibious core competencies along with coalition, NATO, allied and partner nations are a necessary investment in the current and future readiness of our forces.
