171024-N-PM250-024 ATLANTIC OCEAN (Oct. 24, 2017) A marine shows sailors, attached to 45 Commando Royal Marines, how to put a weapon together in the truck tunnel of the Whidbey Island class amphibious dock landing ship USS Gunston Hall (LSD-44). The 45 Commando Royal Marines are on board Gunston Hall in support of exercise Bold Alligator 2017 (BA17). Improving Navy-Marine Corps amphibious core competencies along with coalition, NATO, allied and partner nations are a necessary investment in the current and future readiness of our forces.
