171015-N-CZ893-0247 ARABIAN GULF (Oct. 15, 2017) Sailors assigned to the coastal patrol ship USS Hurricane (PC 3) prepare to secure a rigid-hull inflatable boat (RHIB) using the ship’s RHIB and combat craft retrieval system (CCRS) after conducting boat operations while underway in the Arabian Gulf. USS Hurricane is one of 10 coastal patrol ships assigned to Naval Surface Squadron (CNSS) 5, which is forward deployed to Manama, Bahrain, in support of maritime security operations and theatre security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
