New York Air National Guard Lt. Col. Michael Adamitis, a commander in the 174th Attack Wing Maintenance Support Group, provides an overview of wing facilities and infrastructure requirements to the Air Force Active Associate work group September 12, 2017 at Hancock Field Air National Guard Base, Syracuse, N.Y. Members of the 174th met with peer leaders of the active Air Force's 49th Wing discuss infrastructure needs, timelines, and to identify priorities and issues concerning manpower needs to support agreements for forming an active associate unit. The partnership will see active-duty members serve alongside Air National Guard members at the base to increase aircrew qualification, retention, and career opportunities.
