An outdoor gathering at what appears to be a military installation or base, where civilians wearing high-visibility safety vests are posing for photographs alongside military personnel in camouflage uniforms. Several people are taking photos of a small group posing together, including an elderly individual flanked by two people in safety vests. The overcast sky and bare vegetation suggest a cold-weather season, likely late fall or early spring.

Bataan survivor Ken Porwoll is photographed with family at the start line of the 14th Annual Bataan Memorial March in Brainerd, Minn., April 9. The annual event, hosted by the 1-194 AR (CAB), serves to commemorate the Brainerd-area soldiers who fought in the Philippines in World War II and endured the eight-day march and subsequent years in Japanese prison camps before returning home in 1945.
