171020-N-AZ808-3046 PACIFIC OCEAN (Oct. 20, 2017) – Sailors assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Halsey (DDG 97) participate in a crash and salvage drill on the flight deck. Halsey is currently deployed with the Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group, conducting maritime security, forward presence and theater security operations in the U.S. 5th and 7th Fleet areas of responsibility.
