DAHLGREN, Va. (Oct. 16, 2017) – The Navy Band rehearses as military and civilian personnel gather with visitors to commemorate the centennial of the Navy base at Dahlgren with a kickoff ceremony. Over the next 12 months, personnel at the base and its tenant commands will join the community to engage in activities such as a science, technology, engineering and mathematics event, a time capsule ceremony, triathlon, spring picnic, concert lunch, historic movie premier, rocket contest, and a grand finale – all in celebration of the centennial.
