DAHLGREN, Va. (Oct. 16, 2017) – Capt. Godfrey ‘Gus’ Weekes, John Fiore, Jim Colvard, and Capt. Michael O’Leary are pictured at the Dahlgren Centennial commemoration kickoff ceremony. It was the first of a series of events and activities scheduled over the next year to celebrate the significant role Dahlgren has played in bolstering the nation’s defense. Weekes is the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) commanding officer; Fiore is the NSWCDD technical director; Colvard was the NSWCDD technical director from 1973 to 1980; and O’Leary is the NSA South Potomac commanding officer.
