Capt. Jared LeFaivre, commander of Detachment one, Company B, 248th Aviation Support Battalion addresses the unit's deploying Soldiers, their families and friends at a sendoff ceremony for the unit Sept. 30 in West Bend, Wis. Approximately 30 Soldiers with the unit will head to Fort Hood, Texas to complete mobilization training before deploying to the Middle East in support of Operation Spartan Shield.
