170928-N-KW679-0008 CARIBBEAN SEA (September 28, 2017) Master-at-Arms 1st Class Jason Eisiminger, left, and Gunner's Mate 3rd Class Tristin Yelle, both assigned to Coastal Riverine Group 1 Detachment Guam, exchange a pair of binoculars, aboard expeditionary fast transport vessel USNS Spearhead (T-EPF 1), while searching for survivors of a civilian plane crash in the Caribbean Sea. Spearhead aided in search and rescue operations while deployed as part of Southern Partnership Station 17, a U.S. Navy deployment, executed by U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command/U.S. 4th Fleet, focused on subject matter expert exchanges with partner nation militaries and security forces in Central and South America.
