MARKET SQUARE, ZAGAN, Poland — A band from the 11th Armored Cavalry Division supports the 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, and the 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, as the two U.S. units complete a transfer of authority ceremony, Market Square, Zagan, Poland, Sep. 29. The ceremony marks the transition of command and responsibility of being the only armored brigade combat team in Europe. The ceremony is the first of its type to occur in Poland. The 2nd ABCT is currently in Poland to support Atlantic Resolve, a U.S. endeavor to fulfill NATO commitments by rotating U.S. -based units throughout the European theater and training with NATO Allies and partners.
